I've really enjoyed the whole Yellowstone franchises. But 1883 is a pretty good western show if you're into that genre.

not ture the 1 with colin farrell is brutal
Season 2 of True Detective (ie. the one with Colin Ferrell) is arguably considered the worst one by most, lol.

Season 3 was okay, but didn't come close to the first season.

I've heard good things about season 4 so far, and I'm a big fan of Jodie Foster as an actress. When I get a chance, I'll definitely be checking it out.

The latest For All Mankind and Fargo seasons were pretty good. True Detective is off to a promising start. Some fun Easter eggs can be found connecting it to Season 1.

if you notice the politically correct you cant have a series without have a gay lesbian trans theme mixed in
There was a gay lesbian trans theme in one of the True Detective seasons? Been awhile since I've seen any of the seasons, so have no idea.

I know in general, this seems to be the case though. Doesn't bother me if the quality is there in the series is there.

Season 2’s Woodrugh is closeted. I think that’s the only major character in any True Detective season prior to 4 that’s gay (though some think that Roland in S3 is gay, even though the lead writer said he’s not) and it’s not a major focal point of the season. Sure, they turn up LGTBQ representation a notch in S4, but the series as a whole isn’t really a good example of the so-called “woke mind virus” run amok.

Looking forward to watch Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix

I watched Blue Eye Samurai... 3 times. What an amazing series. Only one season so far.
  • 8 episodes
  • Incredible animation
  • Strong female character who isn't a Mary Sue
  • Lots of violence and blood
  • Lots of nudity (male and female) and sex
  • Set in 17th century Japan, when the country was closed to foreigners
  • Comment on the subjection and empowerment of women
  • Very funny at times
  • Lots of very touching moments
  • Every single character well drawn out
  • No one is 100% good or 100% bad
  • A complex revenge story just the way I like them
A must watch.

Have any of you guys watched Griselda on Netflix? If you are a fan of the Narcos TV series, this is very similar and tells the true story of Colombian Cocaine Godmother Griselda "Godmother" Blanco. Griselda, as an immigrant to the US, built a Cocaine empire in Miami in the 1980s before ultimately being caught and jailed. In real life, Griselda murdered each of her first 3 husbands. The first two were shot by Griselda during arguments over drug deals (one of these murders is depicted in the Netflix series), while she paid to have the 3rd husband killed after he kidnapped their son and took him to Colombia. For these reasons, she is also known as the "Black Widow."

Sofia Vergara plays Griselda and if you like large-titted MILFs, there is an interesting scene where Griselda is having sex with her lover/hit man Dario, and you can see her tits bouncing from behind while fucking Dario in the Cowgirl position. If you like to see titties bouncing during Cowgirl action, this scene might very well produce a hard on, although it did not do so for me, mainly because I prefer my women to be petite, and skilled cocksuckers.

Been binging Passe-Partout non-stop...Fardoche and Alacazou being my favorite main characters!!
Fardoche mustache rivaled Tom Selleck in his prime.
Alacazou... those stripes! those stripes!!!

.....alright jokes aside...Finished '' The Glory '' on Netflix recently...and it was very very good!
I started watching Korean drama like a long long time ago... and back in the days it was just non-stop crying garbage... so I kinda just stop watching them.
I only started to watch Korean drama again in the last 2-3 years... and the ones that are on Netflix are really really good.

The Glory: Story about bullying and revenge... could be quite heavy at times ''especially some of those bullying scenes'' but overall very good even though quite predictable if you're use to asian cinema.

It's ok not to be ok: This one is a gem! kinda hard to pinpoint its genre...a mixe of Fairy tale, thriller, horror, slice of life and drama all together to form an enchanting story about love and life. The 2 main characters are FREAKING gorgeous! The older brother performance in that serie is oscar worthy.

Kingdom: Pretty much a zombi apocalypse... but with a twist... it happened in ancient time... so no guns, bombs or cars... you run and you have pitchfork...very very very entertaining, plus the story actually make sense lol

Kingdom is amazing and a super refreshing addition to the zombie genre. All of Us are Dead is another Korean zombie show that’s not as good but still very entertaining. Set in a high school. I’ve heard some good things about Sweet Home. Going to check out The Glory.

Griselda was a badass woman, that's for sure. Ask her 3 murdered husbands........oh wait, you can't.......maybe this is why husband #4 never made it to the altar.

I have to say the acting by Sofia Vergara in this series is very impressive, especially in her speeches (in Spanish) to the Marielitos and to the Colombian prostitutes she uses as mules for the cocaine. She had oratorical skills, just as Hitler and Mussolini did before her...........

Just started on Masters of the Air, a series about WW2 bomber crews.

It's specifically about the bomber squadron known as the Bloody Hundredth, which endured 80% losses in their first 3 months of service.

Same executive producers as Band of Brothers and the Pacific.

Actual historical footage here:

Have any of you guys watched The Tourist on Netflix? It's an Australian production about an Irish tourist in Australia who has a car accident and head injury results in amnesia. He has no idea who he is and no ID, but quickly finds out that whomever he is must be in trouble.......for some unknown reason.

A must watch.

Superb recommendation. The first 2 episodes really sucked me in, and now I want to rewatch the whole series, just to take in the little details.

There's also a Montreal connection - Studio Blue Spirit, who did the animation, has an office on St Laurent & Sherbrooke. I'm not certain how much of the work was done in Canada though.

Created by Guy Ritchie as a spin-off of the movie... if you like the style, you'll enjoy the series.
