Curious to know from those who are “in the know”. How come? What drives them to do so?
If we take sonia for example. Already super popular. Well rated and always booked. Why come out now?
And will this trend continue. It certainly motivates my choosing of an sp

I love face pic. What I notice is that a lot of girls are putting them on their Twitter feed which is really cool. Erica Delarose always has shown her face. I think it helps to justify the higher rate. On a scale of 1-10 she's about a 10,000 so why try to hide this. Hiding the face is not not only for familly/friends (and hiding the job from them). I heard its also to avoid being "spotted" by the borders and be label as an escort and deny entry in a country.

CBP is definitely using face recognition software at some border crossings. I have no idea whether or not it is deployed against escorts, but in theory it could be. So it can in fact make perfect sense.

No one knows, to the best of my knowledge, whether a machine is beeping based on facial recognition software, or if the Border Patrol guys are spending enough time online so that they recognize specific escorts and pull them for additional screening and comparison to the dossier.

Or perhaps they just pull aside attractive young women and subject them to a more detailed interview. And then assess how they comport themselves.

Patron is absolutely right. American customs and border officers have gotten very good at barring Canadian SPs. This even happens when they are traveling down for personal vacations and not touring. I know of at least 2 SPs in TO who had nexus cards and were still caught and barred. Its more than just pulling women travelling alone aside. These women do not travel made up and with their hair done. During interrogation they look through the phones and all electronics. There are several reasons why girls show their face in ads and social media.
Camgirls and vidartists show their face when performing and often will show their faces in ads and social media.
Others have come clean with friends and parents who now know what they do, and are not ashamed to show their faces.
Still others have come over from other cities and countries and know they are pretty and thus use their face as a sales tool.
There are plenty of examples on twitter among those who I`m following.

If you plan on making escorting a career and not just something you do on the side to pay for school until you get your actual job, than its a good bussiness move for most women. If you have a pretty face, than showing it off is a good way to increase your potential clientele. The main reason most girls don’t do it, is cause they are afraid to be associated with escorting in their personal life. Which is obviously a resonable fear to have. People value their privacy in this industry. The benefits of doing it aren’t worth it for most escorts, but it can definetly be good for others.

Unfortunately not everyone has the same situation. For example, myself I am very discreet with what I do, despite how much I love what I do, I couldn't share this with everyone.
My family doesn't know this, and friends would accept this, but you never know if that will affect you in your future choice of career or business.

I guess, girls that are already banned from the USA, how they claim " we don't have anything to lose anymore".

I wish the stigma was less and people will judge less.Showing your face in this business is very hard mentally.

Personally, the reason I don't show my face is purely because the mystery amuses me. Most of my friends and my close family know what I do, I am not ashamed. But I hide my face because I like the mystery.

And while showing my face might possibly bring me more business, on the other hand, I could lose some too, I guess. Nobody is everyone's type. My clients may think I'm hot and beautiful, but that doesn't mean everyone else also thinks that. I, for one, don't really see what my clients find pretty in me. But that's a girl thing... I have insecurities. Anyways... What I mean here is... I see it as ''Some of the guys whose type I am not will book me because they like my body even though they can't see my face, and then half of these guys will be too shy to turn away at the door if they don't like my face, and the other half might compensate me for time wasted if they do leave''. This is all money I wouldn't be making if I did show my face. So I guess it evens out in the end. I don't think I'd make *that* much more money if I did show my face. I wouldn't magically start seeing more clients than I'm comfortable seeing in a day, or being more booked than fully booked haha.

I am aware, which is why I think for most girls it’s not worth the potential consequences and there are alot of negative consequences and only like 2 good ones, and one of them isn’t even garenteed.
