reviews lead to reviewing!

As this board is useful to me, helping keeping up to date with the biz and avoiding bad experiences, I'm trying to review as much as I can.
(...) : I want to benefit from other people's reviews, and I believe sharing will lead to sharing.

Ditto here! I review less often than when I started on the board, but I try to put in as many as I can... I am not sure I am a "good reviewer", I am certainly not a good writer, but I try ot put info of importance. I am not writing a penthouse letter to try to arouse the reader, but it's OK with me when some others do that.

I especially try to review when the lady has very few reviews, when the reviews are mostly one sided and I have a very different experience or when it has been a long time that the lady has received a review and I want to re-iterate that things are still good. Do I keep some secrets to myself? Probably at times, but one thing is for sure: when there are few reviews globally --and not just on one lady-- coming out, I am less "stimulated" to put out a new review myself.. whereas when there are many new posts I too feel more like contributing something!

One thing though, I wish some members would be more respectuous towards newbie reviewers-- it is not an easy thing to do the first few times...

He's still around... I think he just got fed up with some things on the boards, so he is not active for posting very much... sadly, as I liked his reviews a lot too!

He stopped reviewing after he was accused by at least one SP to ask for freebies/discounts to review her. He was also banned for such behavior.

Hello HornyForEver,

As far as I am able to determine, Montreal Monk has never been banned for such an offense nor do I recall any such accusations being made to any moderator. In any case, when a ban is handed out for those reasons, it is usually a permanent one.

Please check your facts before making any similar statements in the future. As it stands now I am expecting you to either provide proof to back up your claim or post a retraction. Failure to do one or the other will result in a suspension for posting false and misleading information detrimental to the reputation of a member.
