Are you doing better today?
Don't be bashful about seeking (nay, demanding for) second opinions if they tell you that major surgery is in order.

Interesting that you should mention second opinions. My First Caridology Group lasted less than a day after I threw out their little hotshot. It may have had something to do with her receiving a text while introducing herself. She became a little sad upon reading it, mentioning that one of her patients had just died......or maybe it had something to do with the nurses keeping me on a cardiac diet when this little hot shot wrote in my records: "Maybe nothing by mouth for a cautheriztion." Of course the nursing staff appologized for failing to interpet her word "Maybe"....LOL........So, I fired her. Looking back on it, I should have had Donald Trump do the firing. But I was holding out for Ivana.....
The hospitalist quit in protest to my actions, so he was also replaced. The new team members are really good and attentive. They're interacting with the other disciplines in a most effective way. Decisions are being made with prudent consideration and a good deal of communication. The execution seems to be very well coordinated.
I was sorry to have needed to fire the previous members, but I'm absolutely confident in my decision.
My kidneys are still not reponding well, but they've decided to go ahead with the proceedure by transporting me to the special high risk caridiac unit downtown.
My bookeeper and her children came by for a visit. Her cute little 10 year old girl brought me a teddy bear that keeps me smiling.
