Death valley temperature.
Hmmm very interesting articles below:
Record temperature was challenged?

An Investigation of Death Valley’s 134°F World Temperature Record

Also July 12, 2021:
Death Valley, California, breaks the all-time world heat ...Yale Climate Connections

"If verified, the 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54.4°C) reading at the Furnace Creek Visitor’s Center on Friday, July 9, 2021, would be Earth’s highest reliably measured temperature."

From above articles Scientist infighting over temperature certification?
i guess we must trust them on a future few degrees global warming calculation?
This breaking of records is very confusing.

Maybe they want to erase old records from history so they can declare more record temps presently?
The above articles will put all older historical temperature readings into question for sure.
How accurate were the thermometers then anyway?
These instruments have to be well calibrated and technicians do make mistakes.
Most importantly geolocation of thermometers can lead to different temp readings in a particular zone.
Maybe they pick n chose which thermometer to set records and and Climate change data and ignore other readings?
A record set somewhere 10m radius? 100m 1km 10km 100km?

"A desert weather station above grass is representative of a desert area above grass, and it is not representative of a desert area above a typical, mostly barren, desert surface."

Interesting cause I do know of these temperature anomalies in Montreal.
Driving from countryside vegetation areas into concrete jungle Montreal I see temps rise by 5+ degrees celsius entering city starting about 10 km out.
This 5+ degree celsius variation is usually present in calm wind night time.
My car has a good thermometer.
Winds tend to break up temperature anomalies and "even things out"
Oh I am sure much climate change data temperatures for extreme heat are all on windless days I am suspicious.

July 2023:
Death Valley, hottest place on Earth, hits near-record high ...CBS News

"The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth was 134 degrees in July 1913 at Furnace Creek"
"Temperatures in Death Valley, which runs along part of central California's border with Nevada, reached 125.6 degrees Fahrenheit Sunday at the aptly named Furnace Creek"
Ah "hits near record" at 125.6
That is like 8 degrees off and called near record.
But other article July 2021 challenges record to be 130.
Now I have headache.

Death valley is called Death Valley for a reason, many die there due to heat.
Hottest temp at some place called "Furnace Creek" ....that is funny.

So starting today Quebec will be under a Stationary high pressure zone until Next Thursday.
Some anomaly with hurricane Idalia.
Due to atmospheric circulation and clear skies the solar furnace will heat thing up.
There won't be many clouds next few days so full force solar furnace heating.
Winds will be light from the South West shifting to very light winds from South into Wednesday next week.
This will bring nice warm humid air from semi tropical South USA into our Quebec region adding to the solar furnace heating.
The weak low level winds will cause solar furnace heated air to accumulate into a heat dome.
Humidex will hit good.
So next week around Wednesday will be peak temperature before cold front and air mass change.
Oh and to add to situation.
Solar furnace is getting angry again!
News in today:

Solar storm ALERT! Magnetic filament erupts on the Sun
September Begins With FIERY Solar Flare! Geomagnetic ...Times

Cool video with good narration(unlike me) here for Sept1:

BOOM‼️ M Class Solar Flare Produces HUGE Coronal Mass Ejection

I am anticipating Climate change will reappear in force in media panic with all kind of records.

But I know everyone will be enjoying Summer Montreal V2.0!!
What a Catch22!!

Edit:I did typing error attempting to write 2021 with 2012 but correct now.
I had brain malfunction trying to figure out the record temp controversy.

Special Weather Statement: Summer is not over yet.

Oh yes Ministry of "Environment and Climate Change Canada" is now onto this building heat dome.
They present as a Warning but realistically this going to be party time!
SuperMoon hurricane Idalia out at sea now will creep up to eastern Canada by next Thursday.

Oh yes this will GUARANTEE High pressure Heat Dome over Quebec will be locked and loaded in place!
Also the Solar Furnace activity mentioned in above post will be seen tonight if away from city lights.

The Northern Lights may shine across Canada Saturday ...Yahoo News Canada

Interesting to note Solar Furnace flare activity affects atmosphere.
How this affects circulation patterns is a mystery.
Be sure they will exclude this from climate change science hehe.

The Impact of Flares - NASA

"The x-rays from flares are stopped by our atmosphere well above the Earth's surface.
They do disturb the Earth's ionosphere, however, which in turn disturbs radio communications.
Along with energetic ultraviolet radiation, they heat the Earth’s outer atmosphere, causing it to expand."

"Ultraviolet Heated Atmospheric Expansion" wow a topic in itself, Carbon Dioxide move aside!
Our forgotten Nitrogen ally works in the ultraviolet spectrum way up in the upper atmosphere.
There are theories that Massive Solar Flare could wipe out our atmosphere. Scarier than Climate Change for sure!

Big question is how Carbon Dioxide levels impact these astronomical and meteoro-logical atmospheric setups.
Given "logical" is in the word "meteorological"
I doubt it is an exact logical science but more a "Fuzzy Science" so many complex interactions.
"Fuzzy Science" will determine government policies with Ministry of Climate Change be sure.
Governments love "Fuzzy Science" for it can certainly be twisted for agendas.
Covid I think was a "Fuzzy Science" yea trust the science but logically "Trust the medical technology"

Late rising moon may be tropical orange-reddish this week. So creepy I saw this last night.
Oh well what a Spectacular end of Montreal Summer 2023 the next few days.

The Finale may be some great thunderstorms by next Friday with cold front interacting with heat dome which would be another anomaly for September.

And in other news.......................
One more dissection in my analysis of impending Heat Dome of Doom.
Climate change, weather, whatever.

I present prognostic wind at 30000ft, or 9km into sky for Sept 6, 2023
The colours represent wind speed. Direction represented by little flags.
1693756118363.png

Note that St Lawrence valley is located right between 2 strong wind tunnels blowing Opposite directions.
Normal jet stream to Northwest and Supermoon Idalia storm wind flow to the east.
These opposite direction wind flows will strengthen and compress High Pressure zone over St Lawrence valley.
High pressure zone compresses air for more heating.
Compressed air mass has more density for retaining heat.
Be sure Carbon Dioxide will be compressed too hehe.
Air Mass over St Lawrence valley will be blocked in place and checked hard just like football game!

Take notice another prognostic chart below for Sept 6, 2023
This chart maps pressure patterns.
H for High Pressure Dead Center over Montreal! Oh yea!

Montreal Barometric Pressure Forecast

All attention on temperature freakout but never a peep in news about barometric pressure records climate emergency.
Probably cause we don't perceive it well and cannot use for climate emergency panic.
Montreal Barometric pressure forecast predicts everything Normal so we will be safe.

From Sunday today for Montreal:
"The pressure will reach a low of 1009.4 mbar on Sunday at around 7pm and then climb to a high of 1014.53 mbar on Tuesday at around 10am.
The average pressure for this period will be 1011.57 mbar, which is considered to be within the normal range"

Infinite arguments could be put forth whether this is climate change or weather anomaly.
Yes hot Ocean temperatures firing up Idalia Supermoon storm.
Hot Ocean temps from Climate Change or just chance that many clear days over ocean caused solar furnace water heating?
This impending heat dome of doom cannot be simply called climate change.
I call it Sigma Black Swan Event!

A comment from someone else, agree with it.
“While ‘climate change’—humans impacting climate—is real, ‘climate emergency’ is not. A world in which far more people die of cold than of heat is slowly becoming warmer—and our ability to master climate danger is rapidly increasing.”

Yet the United Nations has declared climate change an emergency and stated: "No corner of the globe is immune from the devastating consequences of climate change. Rising temperatures are fueling environmental degradation, natural disasters, weather extremes, food and water insecurity, economic disruption, conflict, and terrorism. Sea levels are rising, the Arctic is melting, coral reefs are dying, oceans are acidifying, and forests are burning. It is clear that business as usual is not good enough. As the infinite cost of climate change reaches irreversible highs, now is the time for bold collective action." Sure sounds like an emergency to me.

The UN specializes in issuing emergencies so they can put more restrictions and more taxes. If it is not covid then there is always climate emergency. Those in power love emergencies, it justifies their actions.

Who exactly is the United Nations restricting and taxing?
The people (the little guy who works a job or runs a small business. Not a politician, not an executive, not a banker, not a CEO). Duh who else?

So how is the UN doing that when they don't have power to restrict or tax "the people"? And what people are those exactly and where do they reside? Seems like your 'one answer fits all' doesn't fit when it comes to the UN, now does it?

From ctxglobal above they going to be trading carbon credits like bitcoin!?
A whole new wallstreet!?

Old article from 2016 below but Considering Blackrock is world's biggest money:

Funds leader BlackRock calls on investors .Reuters

"BlackRock Inc, the world’s largest asset manager, said all investors should factor climate change into their decision."
"BlackRock suggested higher carbon prices could limit the cost of reducing emissions and push companies to create solutions to the problem."

Full articles on Blackrock these days.

And so on.
So many corporations obsessed on this Carbon market it is boggling.
Systemically so complicated to figure out.
Basically looks like Controlling energy and money flows in targeted ways.

Government of Canada has their own lolipop writeup.
Yea complicated. Almost worth a university course in economics to figure out.

How carbon pricing works Canada.ca

Carbon pollution pricing systems across Canada

Canada government calls it "Carbon Pollution"...Nature's Carbon cycle is a topic in itself.
Plants love that CO2, warmth, humidity!! Anyone notice plant growth this summer! Wow!
French Quebec colonists hundreds of years ago would be prayyying for climate change but not for colder!
It would be great growing peaches in Quebec!
"Pollution"? Scientist know this designation is fraud but they are scared to get defunded.

Browsing the Canada website it really looks like "Enhanced Socialism".
Maybe more accurate "Corporate Socialism"

Wow! updated wind prognostic chart for 36000ft or 11km into atmosphere for Sept 5 2023.
Up to 150knots or 275 kmhr in reddest part of jetstream!
What is significant is that it is shooting so far up north!
Jet engine vacuum injecting hot air into East Northern Canada big time.

Looks like two jet streams converging into one super jet stream. Cool stuff!
One jet stream going over British Columbia. That must be the guilty one bringing all the Carbon Dioxide from China hehe
Other jet stream passing over Furnace Creek Nevada (Hottest place in USA hehe) and hot desert areas. Hmmm Must be sucking up all that hot air for Canada record heat reception!

Natives must be partying around James Bay.
I read 27 degrees for Tuesday Sept 5 James Bay "La Grande Riviere airport" 1300km up North of Montreal!!
BUT for James Bay Quebec it will be very windy and cloudy during this northern heat event, not much solar heating.
It Will NOT be a heat dome effect like Montreal.
Rather a jet stream injected air mass of ALREADY preheated air from Southwest USA.

Note... record heat temps in Heat Dome effect is not same anomaly as jet stream air mass injection heat.

Montreal heat dome effect basically no air is moving and city will BBQ is the sun.

That's a lot of hot air........much like this discussion and the efficacy of the bloated United Nations......I can see clearly where the hot air is coming from now. Great paying jobs for a bunch of despotic blow-hards who want to micromanage every minute aspect of your existence, probably right down to your choice of SP and what position you use........ostensibly to save the planet.

So how is the UN doing that when they don't have power to restrict or tax "the people"? And what people are those exactly and where do they reside? Seems like your 'one answer fits all' doesn't fit when it comes to the UN, now does it?
Do you need to me to spell the obvious? The WHO which is part of the UN which declared covid a pandemic (an obvious fake pandemic), they pushed all governments to do what they say and most governments in the world starting implementing temporary measures that morphed into never ending restrictions like forced masks, vaccine passports, curfews, lockdowns, etc.. Implementing significant but partial restrictions, one by one, in the name of the common good can allow for encompassing government control that results in relatively little backlash. Fear over climate change could lead to long-term soft lockdowns, given the precedent of immense growth of government power and significant support for sweeping state actions. Hence why governments and the UN love alarmism. Covid alarmism and then climate alarmism. Like C.S. Lewis said "Of all tyrannies, tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. Of course they had no plan to end it till the truckers fought back. They still are trying to scare people to fall into that trap to accept the return of covid mandates.

Calls for harsh government measures in the name of saving the environment are already in the parlance of influential organizations and figures. In November 2020, the Red Cross said that climate change is a bigger threat than COVID and should be confronted with “the same urgency.” Bill Gates recently demanded dramatic measures to prevent climate change, claiming it will be worse than the pandemic. Despite millions of people having died from COVID, former governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney last year predicted that climate deaths will dwarf those of the pandemic. Lockdowns, which significantly reduced carbon emissions during 2020, could be the solution. After all, the EU’s climate service gloated, the first COVID lockdown may have saved 800 lives.

Climate lockdowns are coming. What would they look like? Most likely, cities and states would begin a gradual and discrete ramp-up of restrictions. We see it already, forcing electric, making it worse for cars by turning streets into one lane one way lanes with bike paths and wide sidewalks, cap and trade system, auto companies being forced to limit the production of ICE cars. 15 minutes cities is something the far-left is planning. Eventually people will be forced to go vegetarian and eat bugs. During the covid pandemic, many people worked from home, this could be the permanent norm if special carbon taxes are put in place. Such taxes could be imposed on companies, limiting driving and extended to individual employees. Drive to work in a car? You get hit with a tax. Schools especially those heavily influenced by teachers' unions, could impose permanent online-only days. New Delhi, India is already using a version of this concept to crack down on smog pollution.

At the same time, either through direct government fiat or due to ineffective green energy policies, some areas of the country could regularly experience California-style rolling blackouts. And as fossil fuels (and nuclear power) go by the wayside, consumers may be prevented from buying new gasoline cars, lawnmowers, or chainsaws. Significant measures are already being planned to combat climate change. California will ban the sale of ICE cars in 13 years as will Germany. Quebec has this planned in about 15 years. Britain plans to do it in 8 years. Prohibiting ICE could save the planet, the argument goes. As each negative weather event is blamed on climate change, government will use its restrictive tools. These measures are being pushed by the far-left and anyone that does not agree with them, they use tactics from Communist governments and publicly shame them. Here is an example of that, former Liberal environment minister McKenna accused anyone not wanting to pay higher taxes to be arsonists -> https://torontosun.com/news/local-n...mes-conservative-arsonists-for-many-wildfires

Conservative politicians want to fight about a price on carbon pollution? You want to make it free to pollute while Canadians pay with their lives threatened, homes destroyed and their communities obliterated? So what are you going to do? You are the arsonists.
— Catherine McKenna

I mean really? The meanness and nastiness of the far-left is beyond belief.

Also remember the rules will not apply to everyone. The elite and politicians will go about their days bypassing all restrictions. During the pandemic while everyone had to wear masks and remained locked up, politicians had parties and travelled to resorts and did not wear masks. As we have seen Quebec's transport minister Guilbault has been caught many times driving her car without a seatbelt.

The worst part is governments everywhere are artificially increasing the population by offering many financial benefits. The root organization pushing for this is the UN. They are not too far away to declare a population decline emergency. Population increase directly causes more pollution, more consumption, and more cars.

At the end, what we have seen is more restrictions and more taxes. What are they after? Liberty is hard to achieve, which is what makes the cult of power so seductive, even to those who identify as libertarian. Once consumed by the desire for power and money, there is no going back to the principal of liberty for all; liberty will always feel like a strategic error. The love of power is the love of collectivism. The UN makes it money via compulsory money sent from countries and also via voluntary donations from countries. Ultimately that money comes from taxpayers. Their goal is to implement more control of the population and put more and more taxes as to bleed every dime from peoples pockets. They also are desperate to increase the population because more humans = more taxes thus more revenue. Follow the money trail. The whole climate change is nothing but a hoax to add more restrictions and more taxes. So far in the last 30 years, government track record proves my point. Of course you will deny this or not accept it but I am simply telling the truth. Accept it or not. It is the truth.

Climate change is real. Climate change is a worldwide emergency. Governments and people everywhere must take immediate action. No conspiracy theory, anti-government, anti-tax, pro-libertarian rant can make the planet warming emergency any less real.

Canada and the US to spend trillions to become carbon neutral and not alter climate change.

Science And Environmental News

China's mad dash for coal power continues, even as Western governments tell their citizens to make more sacrifices for "climate change." A report from two energy research groups on Tuesday found China has over 300 more coal power plants in the works, issuing permits for another 52 gigawatts of coal power in just the first half of 2023 alone.

Again, not a denier but can not see ruining an economy to accomplish nothing. We are advancing, the oilsands have raised their output but GHG levels have not changed, the US has actually done better than Canada at reducing GHGs. There is nothing Canada or the US can do to alter climate change, simple fact. Bravo for the attempt but trying to be a leader in climate change and at the same time ruining the economy does not make sense. Not saying to stop the attempt but tone it down to get the economy back on track.

Agree, climate change is always real even when it will be heading to the mini ice age in the next cycle :D
