Merb is now dominated by Asian agencies.
Which now outnumber domestic agencies.

The also appear to outperform.
In some cases charging up to $500/hour.

Where do these girls come from?
How does recruitment, permitting and transiting operate?

They're pretty opaque afaik. I've heard claims that they're heavily involved with organized crime, but knowing how the locals here don't like competition idk how true that is. They do seem to be high turn-over, high volume businesses which is a turn off for me. Some places even advertise new girls everyday, but that just makes me think they don't treat them well. It's a pity because I have serious yellow fever but I don't feel comfortable patronizing them.

The only articles I have seen (there could be others) are about the agency MoonWaiting VIP that was busted in Toronto several years ago. Some interesting information in those articles. Faites vos recherches...
