Rates were decent, just in the last 2-3 years, 30% increase. Prior to, I believe 30% took 6 years;
Service was better;
Revenu from social media was not so pupular, so maybe more girls since onlyfans or being an influencer was not an option;

100% agreed. I had my best times at the stripclubs between 2006 to 2014 then it was downhill. Lots of fun strippers back then and the prices were good.

Part of me wants to say that we're wrong and we're simply getting older and more jaded. Part of me wants to say that our usual explanations (pandemic, social media, mental health, OF) are right. In the end I think it's a mixture of both. It's not all in our heads.

Backpage was mostly full of scams since Bill C-36 came into effect. Not sure what the relevance here is about the glory days of this hobby.

I don’t see much difference both sketchy sights full of scams.
Never used Backpage and will never use LL either.
True but before Bill C-36 good escorts could be had but when Bill C-36 came it changed the game forever. The law protected the girls and treated them as infants while the men were labelled as predators. Fake photos exploded with over 95% having fake photos and almost always non GFE. The girls knew this and could scam clients all they want and knew they could get away with it. The law protects them.
