It’s pretty much a sure thing that he’ll be named the Raiders head coach next week. The Raiders aren’t even interviewing anyone for the HC position anymore. We will see. I like Maye a lot more than I like Darnold, but Seattle's defense is awfully good and Maye may have an injured shoulder, which they gonna go after.
You went 0-2. Don't care about the spread cuz I only gamble on women and not sports, but glad Seattle won. Patriots can comfort themselves with the 6 championships they already have.

This year the real Super Bowl was the Rams vs Seattle Conference Final! The Rams vs Seattle trilogy were in my opinion the 3 best games in the NFL this year...similar to 2 heavyweigths going toe to toe!

On the other hand they just broke a record and the Patriots now own the record for the most Superbowl losses in history with 6.
My assessment of the Superbowl game:
-Drake Maye had a terrible playoffs & the only reason the Patriots reached the SB is because opposing QBs were worse than he was. And of course the fact a convenient blizzard just showed up at the right time in the Denver game right after the Patriots had scored in a low-scoring game. They also had a very easy regular season schedule. But hey luck is part of the game, right?
-While Maye continued playing sub-par football you have to admit that his offensive line played bad. Especially the left tackle who had a disastrous game! Can’t fault Maye on those sacks!
-The entire offense was terrible. They didn’t score a single point until the 4th quarter! The running game totally sucked! Half of their set running plays were stopped behind the line of scrimmage! And the receivers are average at best. This has to be addressed during the offseason.
-As for the halftime show it broke a Superbowl viewership record & although that type of music isn’t my cup of tea i must admit that it was a masterful performance & one that grew on me after re-watching it. It was one for the ages & one which will be remembered for years. By the way it had more viewers than the game itself!
-As for the game it was a boring affair but i expected it. I tuned out midway into the third quarter. I didn’t bet on the game because i didn’t want to be stuck in front of the tv having to watch a boring game. I would have went all in on Seattle to cover!

They have so much talent still on rookie deals, en plus when you look at the load they received from the Russle Wilson trade, they drafted a lottery

Yep the offensive line didn't show up and Maye looked like the old Sam Darnold on many plays...LOST in Space!!
The Patriots had 2 weeks to prepare offensively for this game and still couldn't figure out the Seahawks defense which the Patriots made them appear to be much better than they really are. Case and point, The Rams offense on back-to-back games on Seatlle's home turf torched the Seahawks defense for almost 500 yards in the NFC Conference final and almost 600 yards in their last regular season game also in Seattle. You could hear the fear in those Seahawks fans because for the most part they were shit scared and kept their mouth shut for most of the game! So there's really nothing special about this overhyped Seahawks defense. That said, this game falls squarely on the shoulder's of Josh McDaniels and the garbage offensive game plan he came up with!
