I don’t see it. The AFC East should be extremely entertaining this season with Buffalo, NY Jets & the Dolphins battling it out for first. With Dalvin Cook signing a 1-yr contract today i have to give the edge to the Jets. But…GO BILLS!

With less than a week to go for the NFL season to finally start i don’t remember the last time i’ve been so anxious for a season to begin. Being a Bills fan my focus is mostly on the AFC East & it very well may be the strongest & tightest division in the league. The Jets, Bills & Dolphins look poised to win their division & head to the playoffs. The Pats for once appear to be the doormat of that division. The game i’m more focused on is the Monday night game between the Bills & the Jets in the Meadowlands. Surprisingly i heard yesterday that the Bills are currently favored in that game. I expect this to change & if it doesn’t i’ll be very tempted into wagering on the Jets.

Finally the Jets have potentially a team which could lead them to the Superbowl. I’m happy for the long-suffering Jets fans. The key to their season will be to make sure Aaron Rodgers stays healthy. Same thing for the Fish with Tua & the Bills with Josh Allen. As for the Pats i feel that their biggest weakness is at the QB position & why they’ll fail to be seen as a contender unless they address at considerably upgrading that position to be able to keep up with the rest of the contending teams in the league. Go Bills!

At least the Titans got in the history books, first time ever a game ended with that score.
Other than that it may be a dismal season.

WOW....not the game/duel we were expecting.....with the injury/Aaron after only 3 plays we thought it would b a walk in the park for the BILLS....BUT NOT.... all JETS/team gave their best with spectacular catch for TD...and the last play in OT was just
incredible...and what about their defense....on the other hand a very very bad night for ALLEN with 4 -turnover....il aura la chance de se reprendre c'est certains...BUT his worst performance...so big credit to the JETS for their impressive win dans les circonstances...
BUT it will b a long season if RODGERS is not back in the game this year....and it seems so....
So all in all..a thrilling one.

Aaron Rodgers has a torn achiles tendon & his season is officially over. Will he play again? Very likely. But it sucks for the Jets. As for the Bills & Josh Allen they totally gave that game away! Allen was back to his bad habits of making mental mistakes that were very costly. On the first INT sure the ball was on the 6 yard line & was as good as a great punt but instead of throwing he easily could have ran for a first down on that play. The fumble was the one that cost them the game. Anyways the Bills will bounce back but Allen must find a way to correct those mental mistakes.

With Rodgers out for the year now it seems the Bills will battle it out with the Dolphins for the AFC East title. By the way the Patriots looked good on Sunday. They may surprise a lot of people this year.

Found this clip

The Jets say they have "a lot of faith" in Zach Wilson to replace Aaron Rodgers after the latter suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in their first game. But that isn't stopping New York from exploring quarterback insurance, with CBS Sports HQ Senior NFL Insider Josina Anderson reporting Wednesday that the Jets are working to "narrow down their options."

That includes ruling out future Hall of Famer Tom Brady, according to The Athletic. The 46-year-old Brady, who retired for a second time this offseason and was just honored by the rival Patriots on Sunday, has told those close to him he is done playing football, per Dianna Russini, and New York has no plans to inquire about his availability. Even if Brady were interested, he'd potentially be forced to sell his new ownership stake in the Raiders if he intended to suit up for another team.

The Jets are also out on former 49ers starter Colin Kaepernick, who had reportedly reached out via his agent in the wake of Rodgers' injury. Kaepernick has long been eyeing a comeback but hasn't played an NFL game in seven years, and he is not on New York's radar, per Josina Anderson, as the Jets' goal is to add a QB who knows Wilson is "the guy" and has familiarity with the staff or system.

The pool of QBs who fit that criteria is rather thin. Veteran free agents like Joe Flacco and Chad Henne, who retired after the 2022 season, have a history with the Jets or offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. There are several bigger-name veterans currently on other rosters, like the Titans' Ryan Tannehill, who previously worked under Jets assistant Todd Downing, but such targets would require New York to trade for help -- an unlikely reality after the team already surrendered high draft picks for Rodgers.

I barely watched the Saints/Panthers game. Two teams i barely have interest for. But i was very surprised at how small Bryce Young looks among NFL players. He just doesn’t look like an NFL starting QB. The Steelers-Browns game was also hard to watch because the two offences suck. Especially the Steelers. It was a defensive battle & the Steelers found a way to prevail thanks to TJ Watt & company. Reason i watched was because i had a bet on that game which rewarded me with a nice 2K win! Bad news for the Browns since they lost star running back Chubb to another terrible knee injury & he’s out for the season. Since it’s the same knee he re-injured a few years ago i’m hearing that his career may be in doubt.

Until i saw this post i was unaware that Josh Allen was dating Hailee Stenfeld. But it’s indeed true. They’ve been dating since since May. Personally i thought he & high school sweetheart Britney Williams were a nice match & i thought it’d be only a matter of time until they’d tie the knot.
