I hate to say that but after watching that incredibly sloppy giveaway by Nick Jansen leading to an easy Kaapo Kakko goal, I would check to see if any bets were placed in Washington on the Rangers scoring in the first minute of the game. It almost looked like Jensen passed the puck to Kakko! I have never seen a harder shot on goal on a giveaway right in front of the net. Jensen teed Kakko up!!!

Officially it's an unassisted goal by Kakko but there was definitely a HUGE assist by Jensen.

I can't believe the Predators threw that game away! WOW what a choke job, they really gave the Islanders a run for their money on poorest closeout of a playoff game so far this year. I am shocked!

Your Vezina Trophy Finalists have been announced and they are Hellebuyck, Bobrovsky, and Demko. Regarding Hellebuyck, who won in 2020, I hope for his sake voting took place before the playoffs, otherwise he is in trouble. Regarding Bobrovsky, a 2-time winner, he is arguably not even the best goalie on his own team! And finally Demko, at 28 years old, had the best year of his career and has finally developed into the goalie the Canucks hoped he would be:
If you go just by regular season, it's Hellebuyck who should win. But if you factor in playoff performance, you have to look at Demko. Fortunately for Hellebuyck, NHL GMs vote on the award at the conclusion of the regular season. So Hellebuyck should win Vezina #2.

Leafs, Islanders and Jets most likely out tonight, Predators probable to win as they let the last one slip away.
