Big big win for PANTHERS....good good game.....yep both goalies on their A game....particulièrement Bobrovsky avec des arrêts miraculeux......big big win also for COL and GEORGIEV did much much better....AVS were quite in control...fun to watch...
BUT hiiiii....without DEMCO it will b another ball game for CANUCKS.

Panthers have shown some great confidence so far in their series, experience from last year is paying off. Of course, never think the Bolts are dead until the very end, these guys have been through all scenarios in terms of playoff history. I also like the coach matchup there!

That being said, I believe the Canes will make it to the finals.

Side note about McD, yes 5 assists but he ended up with only +1, so he was on the ice for 4 goals against!!!

Just like the Gretzky Kurri days when they scored 6 goals and let 4 in.

Boston and Vegas take the lead and the Oilers lose in OT. Got too much sun yesterday and fell asleep early, woke up at 1am and found out OT was about to start. Never saw the first period so do not know if Skinner or the defense screwed up.

I am not a fan of him but Marchand stood up as a real Captain last night, scoring 2 goals and doing his Marchand thing, so far he took zero penalties in the series while managing to get his opponents to get a few.

Like him or not, the guy has reached a point where he’s mastered all aspects of his style of play.

Marchand knows what he is doing et his role....et son expérience le sert de plus en plus....se contrôle davantage et sait comment allumer ses adversaires.....joueur unique et recherché par toutes les équipes.....si disponible....BUT forget it.

I mostly agree with Leafs coach, Marchand always plays on the line with often dangerous moves, obstruction, etc.

This can be said for a lot of their fading stars but I don’t think it’s the major reason for the turn of events in this series. So far, the Panthers have shown much more speed and precision in their execution, they are extremely aggressive in pressuring their opponents , even when killing penalties. And the Bob is showing all his strength while appearing so calm in front of his net that the Bolts are now starting to hesitate when attacking.

I’m very impressed with the Panthers so far. They are playing their best hockey in this series.

Notice how the Cats players, when attacking, are constantly moving around in the zone, as opposed to the Bolts where, we often see the 2 wingers very static in the offensive zone, ending up with less options for the puck holder.
