Igor is playing more and more like he did 2 years ago when he was the best goalie in the NHL. This is bad news for the rest of the NHL. He and Panarin both got assists on the Kreider goal.

New Jersey Devils coach Lindy Ruff is being raked in the New York media and sports radio for comments after his team's 5-1 loss to the NY Rangers. Ruff apparently blamed the media for the Devils's poor power play and penalty killing performance, berating them for putting "excess pressure" on the players by asking them why their PP and PK suck so badly. This kind of thing doesn't go over well in NYC where the athletes are expected to hardened and toughened to this type of pressure. NY fans perceive that this type of pressure is for players on other teams, like Montreal, or Boston or Philly.
