Dodo, I've gotta ask. You're clearly passionate about food, much more than you seem to be about mongering, and there's absolutely zero wrong with that, but I'm struggling to understand why all the food posts are being put on this board, a mongering board, and why you aren't exercising all of your gastronomic energy on a foodie board. You talk a lot about food, and you speak clearly and knowledgeably about all kinds of restaurants in all kinds of areas, and I'm inferring from this that good food is one of your great passions. Again, it's not a condemnation, but I'm genuinely curious why someone who posts so much, and so much about food, would you wouldn't choose to be bantering about it with a group of people who as an entirety are as passionate about it as you are. I know there's some foodies here too, but that's not really the focus of this board, so it seems like a weird fit.
Having said that, thanks for the ACYE sushi recommendations.![]()
Yes, again I guess it's a question of perspective and individual thought processes. I always have social dates elsewhere but never have them here, so when I'm on MERB I don't really think about it per se, but when you bring it up it seems obvious, given all the recent chat about social dates recently. In that context it becomes very relevant information for a portion of the membership that social dates here.Where's the fun in sharing it with others who already know. It isn't new information to them. While here he gets to share his education with people who would most appreciate it, as it becomes all new and relevant information for people to try.
And is relevant as dates can be part of hobbying, and sometimes people could benifit from new ideas.
thanks for the encouragementYou could and should create one

It really is a stark divide.Roads in Ontario are just awesome. You can literally feel which side of the border you're on lol
dumb question from me but why is that? the engineering, materials, weather, types of vehicles using the roads are similar... why does it deteriorate so much faster in Quebec? It really is a stark divide.
Choice of material I think but mainly the harsh winter with the constant temperature change, snow plowing and constant salt spreading.dumb question from me but why is that? the engineering, materials, weather, types of vehicles using the roads are similar... why does it deteriorate so much faster in Quebec?
