Long time ago had a gf who said if I wanted her to shave it I would have to also. I did and was surprised how much cleaner and fresher I felt. She’s long gone and while I don’t completely shave it I still use an electric trimmer for the pubes and just run a double blade razor over the balls and cock base from time to time. Once in a great while (usually beginning of summer) I’ll use magic shaving powder on the balls and behind. Its harsh chemicals though and skin doesn’t feel quite right for a week or so but after that it’s all good.

It's called Nair. You have likely seen it next to the razors and never paid any mind to it. Often targeted twords women for smooth razor free hair removal for legs, so I can see why not. Just make sure there's no blemish or open wound when using. Harsh chemicals.
The stench of Nair, at least how it was formulated when I was a kid, is something you never forget. Hard to describe. Ever paint fenceposts with creosote?

Why? It’ll burn like hell?
It can. There are different options. He has mentioned grabbing the wrong one can really burn.

And yes it smells awful.
Why it isn't something most women actually use. They have options now that smell better and options for more sensitive skin now. But personally I won't use it. Why I found it funny when he said he does.

I just googled, they now have a specific option for men. And there's the product Veet as well.

depilatory cream + scissors trimming to correct imperfections once every month or so works for me; I usually do it a day or two before a "date"

I don't like full shave, it is not necessary and in any case I like to show a bit of hair, plus after shaving, it gets itchy when hair grows back in a couple days (for some reason the itch doesn't happen with depilatory creams)

If you follow instructions you won't get burned by depilatory creams, just a matter or taking a shower and removing all after 10 to 15 min (or less if you feel like it is hurting)

an enthusiastic BBBJ > any discomfort

Before I ever started grooming down there, it hadn’t even crossed my mind. It was actually a SP who brought it up, she asked if she could shave me, saying it would make the whole experience so much better for her, that she loved the feel of soft, hairless skin.

At the time, all I had was an old-school razor. I wasn’t prepared at all. But I let her do it, and honestly, it turned out to be a surprisingly erotic moment. There’s something intensely intimate and a little dangerous in a thrilling way about a woman kneeling in front of you with a blade, taking her time around such a sensitive spot. It definitely takes a certain level of trust because you’re exposing yourself in such a vulnerable way. The whole thing was a blend of fear, desire, and intimacy…scary, sexy, and completely unforgettable.

And after seeing just how much more she enjoyed everything afterward, I’ve been keeping it smooth ever since.

Why? It’ll burn like hell?
And itches like crazy when it grows back wherever you’ve put the cream

Manscaping has become an expected part of a man’s hygiene routine I believe
To a point that there are tools specifically designed for that area, amongst the ones I’ve used I find this one trumps them all

Just the name in itself sold it for me
Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra you can find it on Amazon
