L’Express is my #1 choice for unplanned late evenings dinner. Cant go wrong with their consistency!
In the 2000 to 2010 era, I loved the late-night menu's lower-cost options at Lemeac or Chez Lesveque. Do these still exist?
I remember those. These days they have a smaller selection for the after 9:00 crowd. Can’t speak to price though
They don't anymore. Chez Leveque is dead before 9pm and closes at 10. Only place I can think that does it is Foiegwa.

I meant the restaurant TESFA doesn't have shawarma but their hummus and falafel are very good!

Iru Izakaya on Jeanne Mance, across complexe Desjardins is also VERY GOOD. I highly recommend it. RSVP is a must though.
