The following is a brief reflection on the archetype of the Girl Next Door (GND) in the context of the Montreal escort agency scene (incalls in particular). According to Wikipedia, the girl next door is
[...]often portrayed [in movies] as natural, innocent, and unpretentious. Evoking nostalgia, she is associated with small towns and local or even rural ways of life.
In their detailed study of the online subculture of Johns, Holt and Blevins (2009) define GND as a "wholesome-looking sex worker". Although an exact definition will remain subject to debate, the absence of surgical enhancements (c.f. "natural") and a friendly, rather carefree disposition (c.f. "unpretentious") would seem to me to be essential characteristics, based on the above definitions. My observations are that models who fit this archetype are very few and that they are consistently fully booked. Thus the ideal, or the fantasy, among Johns, seems to be well alive. I am curious to hear your comments on this topic. Is the girl next door archetype something that you have in mind when booking an escort? Are you finding it difficult to find one who corresponds to this description?

Or if she's not a "bombshell" she is GND?
Not necessarily, but "bombshell" (also known as drop-dead gorgeous (DDG)), and GND are indeed two different archetypes, but there are additional ones.

Honestly this seems like an excessive amount of navel-gazing, especially in something so subjective.
