I delete my comments really often too lol sometimes things are not understood properly and I think sometimes some battles aren't worth fighting
I've been writing maybe one cheque a year, if that, for the last 10 years. I just used the last cheque I had and I'll probably never write another cheque again. I'm not sure whether I'm happy about generally not having to use cheques anymore or whether I'm sad because an era has just died for me.
I am happy to not write cheque especially here.
I was used to get cheque book for free and a lot, not just one.
So I was quite confused and troubled when the banks here reluctantly proposed a cheque book for you like it's a luxury (learnt afterwards it comes at a cost).
I also want to bitch about the service fees from the banks here ...

You get a few for free when you open an account, unless they’ve stopped doing that
Damn! I was on a lunch break. I crossed paths with a bimbo downtown. Her cleavage was wide openned. And the blazer she wore was skin color, for a moment, i thought she was naked. There was a student walking beside me, he was also speechless by the view.

Observation during my early morning run
There's a woman in the dog park. Her dog is roaming free. She's not playing with her dog. She's staring at her phone. Her fucking phone. Think about the irony of that. Dog parks are supposed to be a space for socialization, not only for dogs, but for humans, too (their owners). Granted she was alone, but she was not enjoying a moment with her pet.
I'll keep repeating it. Phones are a scourge on modern life. Get off your fucking phone. A world appears.

With the article Sophie Durocher gave them in Lapresse this morning... You might be right. It's an issue I have with the artistic culture In Québec. We have stupid amount of talent by capita. To the point, where it floods and saturate what is sadly, a small and French market. As soon as someone dares to shine outside of our lil Galic province, we turn and shit on them...
They're not my favorite flavor of the moment either. But they have talent, and have put in the efforts for it to work.
We should rejoice and let them have it for a while.

As someone who has lived with IBS my whole adult life and only recently got it fully under control, I can definitively say constipation is a blessing and it's 1000% better than the flipside.
They do the same thing while pushing their baby in a stroller, no interactions, no attention paid to the kid! I find it appaling, I sometimes wonder what kind of human being will results from behaviour like this.
100% on target. Much less discussed than the effect of excessive screen time in kids, but equally important.
