I remember it well it was probably the most exciting live downhill race ever seen in TV history. Was terrifying to watch as Klammer, with all pressure on him to make up a lot of time, skied aggressively, and almost lost control a few times at dizzying speeds!

Yes sir, Kaiser Franz...the greatest downhill skier of all time and the master of the Hahnenkam (full lenght Streif course) mountain in Kitzbuhel, Austria. The most dangerous and intense FIS downhill course in the world. He won at Kitzbuhel 4X (the full lenght Streif course) a record that will most likely never be broken!

Nobody was expecting France to be compétitive, but nobody expected Wilson getting the ragdoll treatment neither! I have to admit, it was quite satisfying! Lol
Probably due to a burst of adrenalin.
During the meantime between the hit and the fight, he horrifyingly catched Wilson mean intentions.
In his mind: « Oh! Putain de merde!!! Wil-sonne veut me secouer le buffet!!! Celui-là me fiche la trouille!
Il faut que je fasse quelque chose sinon il va me bousiller la tronche et du coup ma meuf ne me reconnaîtra plus…»

The French player is a Monster ! Which NHL player do you think would have won a fight against him ?

French Goon Crinon, Who Hammered Tom Wilson, Banned by French Ice Hockey Federation!
I was surprised he was not allowed to suit up for Germany. To me this was an overreaction.

Seeing how he fought Wilson, I would not be surprised that a few NHL teams make a few calls for him...

It should also be noted that Wilson attacked Crinon, although Crinon had earlier roughed up McKinnon, precipitating Wilson's protective action. It's not clear to me whether the French statement on Crinon's actions referred to the fight with Wilson (in which he defended himself), or the earlier gooning of McKinnon.

Canada vs Tchek

All the officials on the ice let the Tchek take the lead with 6 men on the ice!!!
This could have lead to the elimination of team Canada! Imagine the commotion!

Puck will drop on USA v. Canada Gold Medal hockey game at 8:10 a.m., tomorrow so rise and shine for some breakfast hockey.

Canada is a slight favorite but this is the most talented hockey team the USA has ever fielded at the Olympics, and it is also a healthier team than the team that faced Canada for 4 Nations Gold when the Tkachuks and McAvoy were all injured.
