I wear boots sometimes, sneakers sometimes, heels sometimes even in the winter. Lol. While yes style plays a part (I can't imagine wearing astronaut type boots to a dinner date), there's also the fact that my feet don't really feel colder in sneakers than they do in boots, honestly... It's not like I walk 6 hours a day in snow. I can afford boots, but I can also afford a uber if I have to go somewhere that's too far to walk to
I admire you so much for walking in heels in the winter lol

Petty complaint : I can't wear heels longer than 5 minutes. However I can spend a whole evening in pleasers.

Oh, there goes this guy and his psychosis again
Don't worry he's having a nice walk by the beach in Alicante. I'm sure tomorrow he will be in having the time of his life somewhere in Croatia.. and in a couple days, the Bahamas!

I propose we sacrifice a few horny goats and fat sheeps to Kapéaimegé, the great god of Audit to appease his wrath and provide us with good and strong erections for the years to come

He was deciding to either have dinner in Alicante (Spain) or Sorrento (Italy) tonight, where it is currently 11:30pm. He's got bigger problems to worry about.

He’s gonna have dinner at his momma in Rosemont

I hate the STM and Hydro-Québec(2 days now with no Hydro power) for the poor service they provide, particularly the STM. I rely on the STM to get to the office 5 days a week, as I work in one of the skyscrapers downtown and do not have to go outside once I arrive at the Bonaventure metro every morning. It is convenient.

Every week, at least twice a week, if not more, I am late for work because the service is down. I pay over 100$ per month for a bus and metro pass, and on top of that, I lose money and pay because of their poor service. It does not go down well with management either. I am never compensated a penny for this by the STM when it is their poor service that is responsible for my financial loss. Thousands of other citizens are affected in the same manner.

As far as I am concerned, these bastards and bitches(let's be inclusive) employed by the STM are overpaid and underworked at best, provide poor service and incompetence, and we paying customers should be recompensated for our financial losses. That is my rant! Thank you for allowing me to bitch!

You are one of the people who were affected in CSL?
As for the STM maybe it's my commuting time but so far I'm good ... Touch wood

First regarding text messages - This is what I wrote today to LC18 - Spanish police said they had freed 15 Chinese women forced into prostitution in "slave-like conditions" in Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Balearic Islands, and arrested 14 people. This is a real problem Luna, and its not like the text harassment.
I'm not worried about attacks. I'll start to worry when someone on this forum says he is ready to leave his comfort zone, pack two suitcases, and achieve in China what I achieved in Canada, then we will be equal.
I am an immigrant and therefore I cannot complain about immigrants. I tried to explain the role of a part of immigrants in the current state of Canada. I am 40+ and a while ago I calculated that I had studied for 26 years in my life. Coming to Canada I started everything again to be a good citizen. But then I saw where my taxes go and how a large part of immigrants are only looking for how to cheat the system.

You need to understand that everything is related, everything is important. To close this I will say:
They don't understand because they never lived.

You are nice girl, I respect a lot your opinion and therefore I plan to take a shower, get dressed and have dinner in Alicante tonight.
Alone. Then you’ll head straight to marde-a-lago?

I remember going to a restaurant and seeing a sign that says “if you think our employees aren’t good enough, feel free to drop your resume”

Speaking of restaurants i'm still surprised by the number of people managing customers in (most) places in North America

Somehow it reminds me the controversial signs in restaurants in Japan

And it also reminds me something that happened to me a long time ago when I was visiting Tokyo.

I was queueing to get in a restaurant, we were like 4 pax. When the waitress assigned our seats we were like seated face to face with a little partition as it was a kind of bar table with high chairs.
On the right side there was like one seat available and the next one a Japanese salary man (that's how they call the guys in suits there) eating and drinking.
We were fine with the seating but the salary man raised his hand to talk to the waitress who seated us. From his hand gesture he was like trying to tell the waitress to put us all together in one row and he wanted to switch seats.
But the waitress refused to do so in a very Japanese polite way.
The salary man was a bit speechless but anyway.
I didn't mind being seated like this but the refusal from the waitress to move us by the request of the impacted client just pissed me off!
