I'm grateful that I have enough work right now to be able to avoid social media and forums this summer! I've been fairly busy since June, but I thought people would forget about me if I didn't constantly post.. Protecting your energy is one of the most important things to do in this industry
To technology and science for letting me get an eye intervention without going blind. My eyesight is better than ever! And it barely took three minutes. It's unbelievable.
As we say in French I'm as blind as a mole lol
But always hesitated doing it because it's not permanent?
And now that I am aging I recently have Presbyopia ...
I have done it around 15 years ago. Vision is still good. The absence of fog on glasses when doing sport is probably what I am the most grateful for.

Et il y a une autre intervention pour la prespytie, qui est lié à l'âge et non pas une déformation de l'oeil. Mais j'ai pris les retouches Lasik à vie pour les problèmes que j'avais, donc ce n'est pas permanent mais si ma vision baisse encore assez dans les même problématiques que j'avais, ils pourront le refaire gratuitement. Ça se peut que j'aie à le refaire une, deux, trois fois... Peut-être jamais.
Les consultations sont gratuites, et ils te donnent vraiment toute l'info selon ta et tes problématiques! Si j'avais eu à payer pour une consultation je n'y aurais même jamais songé...
I never dared going for it. Nowadays I work at my desk, so it's not much of an issue, but a few years back I was doing AV installations, and having to deal with glasses when you have your head against the wall to pull or plug a f**in wire behind a TV was horrible.
It's funny bc 15-20 years ago I was counting the days until I could afford LASIK. I was an everyday contacts user but then I was told I had to switch to glasses for a little bit bc due to an irritation and I never looked back. Now I wouldn't get it if you paid me to bc I don't like the way my head looks without glasses lol.
