Does the Booker change the game ?

Something I’ve been noticing more and more lately…

When I first started in this hobby, almost all the bookers were men. But over time, I’ve seen a steady rise in women handling bookings.

Sometimes I can already tell if it’s a man or a woman just by the way they use emojis.

It’s subtle, but the tone, punctuation, and little things like that can totally shift the vibe of the convo.

Do you feel a difference when a man books versus when a woman does? Not just in energy, but in the way you/they respond or the questions you/they ask. And does the identity of the booker make a difference as to when you prefer to call for an SP.

And for those who’ve worked/work in agencies does the energy, tone, or management style of the booker actually affect who decides to come in and show up for work that day?

Personally I wouldn’t care one way or another, I don’t like middle men or women and this is one of the reasons I only see Indy’s and only ones that do everything on their own, if they have a booker/assistant what ever you want to call them, they are not for me.
I don’t need or want to go through another layer.

Its a case by case in general nowadays. But as i said before, when i was younger (new in this hobby) with no cell phone, i had to call to book and for some reason it was so uncomfortable for me to talk to a lady booker. I just felt it was "weirder" to talk about specific services or such. I know its irrational as when i am with the escort herself i will have to confirm with her but at least its her directly... im gonna do those things with her specifically. Talking about it to someone else was the issue. With a guy it was less the case (kinda like boys talk). No joke i remember walking in circles for 30 minutes before having the courage to book ... Then i got a cellphone and things got easier gadually.

I think what totally "broke my shell" was when i became myself a booker briefly. Not gonna say i had no shyness to talk to clients but since i was the one "in charge" it was less of an issue. Then i realize how some clients had absolutely no hold back on anything. Some having crazy sexual demands, others wanting me to adapt my bookings/the escorts schedule with an hockey game ending (not even a joke...). I only did this for a little under a month but heard so much stuff i kinda took a more "whatever" aproach after.

Nowadays obviously all my bookings are done by text and i only talk on phone to the bookers if there is an issue or something, but i wouldn't care if its a man or a woman per say.

But like OP i noticed when i text with a female booker or the Indy herself, the tone seem to be more "lighthearted", like more emojies and XXs (to similate kisses) and such. While guys seem to either be straight to the point (as in they talk to you like you're a client at mcdo) or they are the more "polite" style using "sir" and such.

Either way all i ask from the bookers is to be efficient. As in note my booking well, make sure the provider i see is roughly on time with the scheduled time (im always ok with 5 to 10m of disparity incall and up to 20 outcall, even 30 if im being updated nicely). Otherwise just be "nice" and its fine. Can be friendly, professional, flirty... does not matter that much for me.

Not irrational at all I felt exactly the same way.

There were times I even felt ashamed to book with a woman, thinking she might judge me or see me differently. It brought up a lot of inner hesitation.

But things started to shift for me when some SP themselves became bookers. Knowing them intimately made the whole interaction simpler. It wasn’t just about logistics anymore, they already had a sense of what I wanted and real or imagined I felt less judged.

I also feel more and more bookers are interacting on this forum lately, and you start to get a very different sense of who they are beyond just the polite booking texts. The tone they use, how they handle conflict or questions, whether they stay respectful under pressure… it all reveals a lot.
And that goes for indies as well, the way they interact here on the forum can totally change the game.

I actually prefer calling to texting because by the time I finish writing the text, I’m afraid the SP will already be booked but mostly only agencies will still accept phone calls.

I mean irrational as in "its like going to the doctor, they seen it all lol"

Yeah here and Twitter. I can say i like Mia from Forever. Base on her tweets.

They book fast but "not that fast" lol. I doubt you will lose a booking due to texting. If anything probably 80% of clients text...

When it comes to indy they only accept text for 3 reason.

1) they prefer pre-booking anyway so they not in. Hurry...

2) its an assistant handling the phone (often, even if they say its not)

3) they want infos on you that are easier to get in text and can also leave a trace (for security reasons)

Makes a lot of sense.

Overall I've had better interaction with woman bookers than with men.
With men I've had great ones and real rude ones. Never a rude one with a woman

Got it although, people are endlessly creative when it comes to putting things up their asses, so it’s possible doctors haven’t seen everything yet!

But how can you be sure you’re not actually speaking with an assistant especially since, as @Halloween Mike pointed out, it’s often an assistant handling the phone, even when they claim otherwise?

Because I have been seeing the same 2 women for years who have become friends of mine and I know them well. They have no assistant or booker.
When I do see someone new it is usually through their recommendation or they know them well enough to know there are no bookers/assistants involved plus I am good at doing my own research.

Interesting… I actually never thought much of it. The way I see it, in an agency, all the SPs share the same agent/booker who works for the agency it’s one person handling multiple SP’s But when an Indy has an assistant, it’s more like she has her own personal agent. So I don’t really mind if an Indy has an assistant, as long as she’s nice, respectful, and the communication is clear. But reading all these strong opinions makes me reflect on it differently now.

When i think about it, I dealt mostly with ladies bookers more than men bookers.

It really doesn't matter as long as I get to see the girl i booked i am all good..

I don’t think there is anything wrong with dealing with bookers/assistants, it is just a personal thing with me I prefer to deal with the person I am going to see and not with a middle man/woman. This way there can be no he said she said or misinterpretation of anything. I live by my word and I expect the person I see to be the same and if not then it is the first and last time we see each other.

lol not false... Recently saw a short about a guy with a gatorade bottle wich apparently his girlfriend thought was a good idea to try to "melt" so it would come out...

Yup... Melted plastic butt... Pretty sure doctor that day was not expecting that one lol
