Beware The Facial Recognition Scams

I saw someone mention they use TinEye as a tool to try and find out if a SP is legit. I got curious about these sites a few months ago and decided to do some experiments.


So as a public service announcement: TinEye, SocialCatFish, FaceCheck, PimEye, FaceOnLive, etc.... All of them are scams.


What they actually do, is that when you use the free version, the site will use the picture you uploaded as reference for
AI to generate a few fake pictures that look like the person you're looking for. Then slip those pictures in the search results.

All of this of course so you pay for a token in order for the site to reveal the source of the images, but once you pay, these
images you saw they dont come back in the results anymore!

I figured that out pretty quickly by reverse searching the images it displayed that looked like my target, and tracking them
back to a AI image generator service.

If you pay to use SocialCatFish, the results they will provide are in fact from Yandex, a FREE site, that only contains pictures
of Russian people!

These site will sometimes give good, genuine results, but only when you search for a celebrity, never for a private individual.

Honestly a reverse image search is fine. If someone is an influencer or OF model or porn star, you will easily find the photos.
Whether or not they are a scam, these websites violate our privacy. It's not because someone is face out that you're entitled to use AI to find other pictures of them elsewhere and potentially reveal their identity...

Very true, but like I said dont sweat it. It doesnt work.... for now..

Even if it did .. I don't think it's ethical to use it with provider's photos. My 2 cents. A reverse image search is enough. Otherwise just rely on reviews to see if the person is real. I see some ads and the photos are clearly AI generated or models who had their photos stolen. It's just pretty obvious

Any times i tried using tineyes i got no result... it was useless.


Maybe its because im more "experienced" by now but i usually find it obvious to notice fakes from real for the ads websites. Sometimes its laughable (yup Sky Bri or Jessica Nigri ain't providing in Montreal... no shit... lol) but most of the time the way the pictures are taken like its so random pictures that look taken out of instagram or facebook it does not seem genuine at all...

Then again im not a risk taker. I wanna see more providers in agencies that advertise on Merb and indies that i don't need to care for LL. My LL browsing is more about my curiosity i guess and my ...well... "will of knowledge". I just like staying updated i supose ...lol.


As for privacy... as i said before, its a thing escorts need to accept that if they go face out, or even pictures that are not heavily photoshoped (to hide tatoos or any disticntive features) they bound to be "recognized" at some point. Im not saying its right or i condome it, im just saying it will happen. I saw it happen on reddit for instance and even tough i never personally use that, i had peoples mentions that Telegram is used a lot for leaks of all kind. (OF and probably other stuff)

Its 2025... technology... it is what it is.

Yeah obviously going face out is a risky choice but it still needs to be respected. Also a lot of clients won't see face in providers. All I'm saying is respect our privacy. once again this is about the fear of fake ads and getting scammed on leolist.. we all know the solution to this problem
