Le plus gros but est quand même venu du bâton de Kirby Dach qui joue avec aplomb dernièrement et ce, avec du temps assez limité. MSL est forcé d’utiliser ses 3ième et 4ieme trios de façon équitable étant donné que les 2 produisent.

Il a trouvé la faiblesse de Hill et elle est comme nous tous…entre les deux jambes!

Au final, le CH nous a donné tout un mois de décembre, ils ont joué pour .692 avec 9 victoires et 4 défaites. Bon, y a eu 2 défaites humiliantes mais ça reste que .692 c’est une moyenne top team.

Je ne suis pas naïf pour croire qu’ils peuvent maintenir le niveau mais, quand ça passe, on profite du spectacle.

In the end, the CH gave us a whole month of December, they played for .692 with 9 wins and 4 losses. Well, there were 2 humiliating losses but it remains that .692 is a top team average.

I'm not naive enough to believe that they can maintain the level, but when it happens, we enjoy the show.

The big picture is the wild card standings, and you need to check them after every hot streak to see where the team is at in those standings. At the moment, Montreal is out of the playoffs. They are 3 points away from a wild card, but with 4 teams in front of them that have to be passed: Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Philadelphia. Therefore, going forward, a Pennsylvania sweep will be more important than a Florida sweep. So the focus needs to turn to beating those specific teams to make up the ground.

If you are 3 points out with 10 games left in the season, you would take it, but not the 4 teams. That's counting on too much to happen.

I’m not so certain anymore. I now think they have an outside chance of getting in if Ottawa falters.

But it doesn’t worth pushing for it. The organisation has kept to their plan so far and, even if we may see 1 or 2 veterans leave before the trade deadline, I dont see any investment being made before next summer.

He is not a finalist for Calder Trophy at this time. The 3 currently projected finalists are Michkov, Celebrini and Dustin Wolf of Calgary. Logan Stankoeven experienced a huge slump after November 15 and it wouldn't surprise me if he rebounds and gets his name in the final 3. Hutson needs another good month or two to become a finalist.

I’d be careful about trading away veterans if i were them. Veterans are a valuable asset on any team. They provide mentorship & stability. I’d only trade them if the return is worthwhile. Of not i’d feel like they’re just giving them away which isn’t what i’d do. Might as well re- sign them or keep them unless you know ahead of time they would likely test the market & leave anyway.
