Like many others said in this thread, it’s not easy to stop especially not with internet. Everything seems so easily accessible, you can’t even go on Twitter in peace because guess what? We are on there too. Hell! I’ve seen SPs posting escort related content on TikTok.

Try budgeting, try occupying your free time with other activities or thoughts.

Why would you stop unless you are married and feel guilty about it, in which case that is completely understandable. However, if you are single, there is no reason to quit this hobby. We are not getting any younger, and as you age, the likelihood of being able to engage with an attractive young individual diminishes unless you are willing to pay for it.

I do not want to be the elderly person lusting after a young woman and masturbate watching adult films in front of my television. I would rather pay for sex and feel youthful again than resort to such behaviour. Furthermore, due to the current challenging dating scene, it is more cost-effective to pay for intimacy than to go on a date where you may end up going home alone without any physical connection and down 500$. Personally, I intend to continue this hobby until my last breath.

It really all depends on what you want in life and what you can afford.
If you are young and want financial freedom then this life style is not for you unless you can easily afford it and do it as a form of entertainment and fun..
This is not a substitute for falling in love with someone who is real who is willing to share their life with you, who will love you and who will have a family and a lifetime of memories with you, it doesn’t even come close.
When you compare that it is easy to stop.

I will never stop as I have had all of that in my life and now I am lucky enough to have an ATF who fills the void somewhat, who is gorgeous, kind, a friend and just an amazing young lady. I will keep seeing her as long as she wants me to or that I am physically able to.

Same here. You're right...it's about focusing on something else. I just put my focus and money on other things that I enjoy. I can always go back later if I want to.

What has helped me greatly reduce my number of encounters is taking a step back and tallying up my yearly spend on this hobby. After the actual monetary value spent hit me, I decided to spend X% less on this hobby and instead spend it on other things that make me happy. If you use your money to make yourself happy outside of this hobby, I believe you will play in it less.
