This is about a California restaurant owner. The state shut dow their outdoor dining and yet a Hollywood shoot on location was allowed to set up catering adjacent to her patio. Science doesn’t back this. This is just arbitrary. Watch the video.

What is not arbitrary, are the 2,000 reported deaths so far today in USA
What is not arbitrary is that Germany has 24 deaths by 100,000 residents
What is not arbitrary is that USA as 87 deaths by 100,000 residents
What is not arbitrary is that Trump who is actually doing nothing against COVID, mocks Germany for record day in deaths. He prefers to falsely claim being a victim and simply doesn't do his job as president. Peoples (81 millions) decided to fired him and adults will be in the WH soon. But lot of damages to fix.

Reporting news is ok, reporting important and meaningfull ones is much serious. Just a question of credibility...

All the medical experts are saying that outdoor dining does not present a significant risk so than why shut it down? Why not throw a virgin in a volcano?

Like it hot - is it OK that a movie company is allowed to film on location and set up an almost identical tent just a few feet from the restaurant that the government shutdown and cater food to the essential workers (actors on a set). And meanwhile the governor was caught dining with 6 other couples in the most expensive restaurant in Napa eating a free dinner $400/plate dinner that was paid for by the medical lobby of CA. That is fucking insane.

This is good to remember. I used to say that people over 65 should be terrified because it kills 5% but the CDC said that it only killed 2500 healthy people in the USA over 65 that didn’t have some underlying condition. It kills the infirm. These are people we need to protect. The rest of us are most likely fine. The cure that is being prescribed is worse
than the disease.

How come you seem to be perfectly ok with what is happening in your own back yard.

In NY we have our governor and mayor holding daily press conferences and our infection rate is still on the incline. The states around us, New Jersey and Connecticut are far worse and their constituents hear from them daily as well. We can blame Trump for screwing this up back in March, I wouldn’t, but I would understand why someone would. But, at this point other than adhering to the CDC guidelines what are Americans supposed to? It is what it is, we have to ride this out and get vaccinated when it’s approved.

A shit load of people dying, the same crap going on in CHSLD that was during the first wave.
So as long as they say things with emotion shed a few appropriate tears for the dying all is good.
The results of the leadership however are just as piss poor as in the US, yet all of you are busy blaming the big Orange and turn a blind eye to your own.
You can see relatives during Christamas, No wait you can’t do that. You can teach 30 kids in school who were wearing no masks for many weeks, you can be with teachers in the staff room, but if you invite one of those teachers to your home after you are liable to. a $1000 fine.

What is tragic and you can play this game of words all you like is that in the end it depends on the people themselves.
A perfect example is Quebec and the US which have almost identical figures of death per million population which is what really counts.
You can say all the right things do all the right things if people ignore it, it won’t work.
You can cut and paste and blame Trump all you like but you cannot manipulate the figures and the number of deaths they don’t give a shit about your prejudice and hatred of Trump.

What none of you want to admit or give credit for is that the big Orange for all his faults and fuck ups and being a total ego maniac and asshole as a humane being did in the end pump billions into vaccine research, introduced warp speed and removed all the red tape and obstacles to have at least two viable vaccines available by year end.
This is the only thing that will end this nightmare that we have been living otherwise there would be no end to this some countries would have better results in the beginning but would eventually have the virus overrun them anyway.
