I recently went to Victory Hot Dogs and had two steamies, a fry and root beer for about 10$. They used to be on McGill College just south of René Levesque, but moved over a block or so into a food court quite some time back.

Im a toasted bun person myself however for steamies I think nothing beats Couche Tard. I'm not a fries person so a bag of chips works for me

Since it is close to my work place, i go to La Belle Province on Peel street to get my steamies.

I went there once; I work in the area as well, but I never went back. I found the place expensive and did not like that the guy handled food without gloves.
