You guys ever get a text message that looks like this:

FRM:SERVER
MSG:New messages. Your card will shut down due to unusual spending.
PLEASE contact us 14752429743

Similar, they send me a text telling me that some weird name has sent me money. Or that, a bank I don't deal with says they finally got my money

How does the Chinese messages scam work?

When a scammer calls me I tell them my name is Benton Fraser. If they are Canadian then they know I am on to them, If they are from outside Canada they keep going and are not suspicious that I am on to them.

I had the CRA call about a month ago saying I owed money.
The agent ( strong east indian accent ) asked for my name and I said fast Suckmydick, he then asked for the spelling..... He hung up.

I got a message saying that there was an arrest order at my name and that I was to call without fail to report me...a friend got the same message at work...
I have no clue what profit they expect to make out of this?

Usually they tell you the arrest is because you own money to the IRS and you need to repay them using target/wallmart gif cards and crap like that (lol)

There is a video on youtube of a police officer in the states going all the way with the dude on the phone just to see where it go. Sadly i don't have the link but it was quite illarious (saw that a while ago)

At the hand the scammer even go as far as terrorist treat and saying how he hates the US etc

The phone call scam that Halloween Mike refers to has targeted me on multiple occasions. It comes in from various US locations and basically instructs me to contact a phone number or an arrest warrant will issue for unpaid taxes. It’s BS because all my taxes are paid and furthermore, the IRS does not do business that way. It’s a joke that they think I would be fooled. I block the callers but they are like maggots, they keep coming from different numbers and locations.

The phone call scam that Halloween Mike refers to has targeted me on multiple occasions.

Obviously no governement official would accept payment from store gift cards, i can't believe some peoples fall for that, even if they are doubtfull that there taxes where not properly paid. When they said in the video the police would come to arrest him, the sheriff said "i am actually the police sir" and that was hillarious.
