I don't think I see a lot of chef using gloves except for some food handling or tasks.

That's true! I have a friend who works at restaurants a lot and he told me the same.

In the 2000 to 2010 era, I loved the late-night menu's lower-cost options at Lemeac or Chez Lesveque. Do these still exist?

I remember those. These days they have a smaller selection for the after 9:00 crowd. Can’t speak to price though

They don't anymore. Chez Leveque is dead before 9pm and closes at 10. Only place I can think that does it is Foiegwa.

Montreal has become such a village. Long gone are the days of late anything.
