I've been suspended only one time in 7 years and that was for a very minor infraction. I think I made a comment about a topic that a mod had said could no longer be discusssed and I wasn't aware of that and I got an undeserved 3-day suspension. Though I haven't been that active recently, I have been fairly active in the past, including on some topics that became controversial, including the famous Red Light Club-male porn actors-found-dead-in-a-quarry case (a thread that I started and that lasted a long time). I was also the first person to call bullshit on the well-known Toronto provider who falsely claimed that she had been beaten and raped by a client in order to elicit sympathy and get donations from her admirers, but I always kept my cool during that episode too. I have also debated publicly with any number of well-known members without losing my cool and getting suspended. However, I try to avoid most debates these days--it's just not worth it. And I've never been a mod...I don't work for free unless it's something I really enjoy. Also, I contribute reviews on almost all the providers that I see, though I only come to Montreal once a year these days. So I nominate myself for the trophy.

I got a two month suspension back in 2006 by the overzealous mod 5 for refusing to continue to put up with the incessant hounding by an envious sociopath hiding behind a keyboard and known here as General Gonad. I am, hence, not your guy.
At my age, I HAVE a senior member.
I was thinking of this Lady Byng thing because I played rec league hockey for years, and played in some pretty tough leagues. Despite that, I almost never got sent to the box. One day I had a fight with my wife before leaving the house and wound up getting 29 minutes in one game, which I think is still a record in that league. That was more than I usually had all season.
Back on point, I have had one post wiped here but have never been suspended.

I have never been suspended, my motto has always been, always a gentleman. The ladies call me gentleman Jeff Jones at least when they are with me, i have no idea what they call me behind my back but that's another story. Please no smart remarks as i may lose it and fire back and take myself out of contention for this prestigious award
I submit myself for this award, for no other reason than I haven't been publicly threatened with suspension in a couple of months. I'm not confident this will not change after today (as I suspect Mod 11 will take great joy in banning me for at least 2 weeks), but still over two months........I'm a natural!!!! If so honored, I'll accept in absentia and designate bumfie to give a speech for me.

I have actually been suspended twice. I think once for 3 days and once for 2 days. I don't recall whether Doc was ever suspended. If he was I do not remember it.

MG, some of us predate CANBEST & TBD & MERB. There used to be, and still is I believe, something called ALT-SEX if I remember correctly?? I remember a couple of guys (myself included) posting to that. Shall we create a designation for those guys. I can think of one other guy posting elsewhere who's still around.

You are lucky to live here as the choices, while not as great as they were in the 2002-2005 era, are still better than most other destinations that you have not checked out. New York City has some fine talent, but the price tag for all of it is very high. Montreal still has some outstanding talent at a low or at least comparatively low prices. There isn't any place better in North America.

I've been around since Canbest where I was just a lurker. I joined merb shortly after it started after joining terb and used the name train for several years here before leaving and coming back some two years later as Possum Trot. I have never been suspended under either name, but then again there is no one left to get into a good healthy difference of opinion with which seems to be frowned on these days.
