respect #1
Let me drop a couple cents (I've not posted anything in the last few weeks, but I've still been reading)...
Details in reviews are fine so long as there is a respect in writing them. I remember the Canbest days, and the kind of stuff that used to be written back then. A very close friend of mine burned out because of those reviews. She became so popular, people wrote so many details of what she did, expected those details when they came to see her, regardless of their hygene or overall respect toward women, so much so that a few months after it all started (her being reviewed) she quit the business. She would later publish a book. (En passant: some people in the past, on this board, one in particular comes to mind, have talked about my relationship with this girl. To you-know-who-you-are: how ludicrous of you to think you were so bright as to know anything about our friendship, ever.)
Things on Merb are a heck of alot better that they were on Canbest, that's the only reason I joined this board to begin with. How is it that the people who reviewed me left out the more intimate aspects of our date if not because they respected me enough to not write me off as one-size-fits-all commodity. Many of the people who wrote about my friend could have cared less.
On Merb, for the most part, the reviews are great. The fact that there are also SPs on this board (unlike during canbest days when we could not respond in the out-call/in-call sections) makes the relationship between SP and client alot better than it was when I first started out. The clients I met this last time around, I swear, were ALL at least nice if not great individuals.
The major thing that differentiates the Journal de Montreal ads from the rest, is that most of those agencies have no websites, most of them do not participate on boards like this, most of them already have all of the clientele they need. I truly believe today that if a girl must join an agency (to me, agency=screwing normal social dynamics, some of you know how I came to this conclusion) she should go for a place with a website, those agencies which are most likely to have review threads in places like this. The clients that come from these boards are generally much better than the JDM types. Relying on a large volume of internet customers weeds out the really bad clients with no hygene or respect, which usually stick to the lower end places with zero accountability. Our number one concern in this business should be how can it be better for both sides.
So all and all, Canbest forums are worse, Merb forums are best. Things started changing for SPs when SPs starting talking on these boards.
Details? The reviews that were written about me were great. I think we (SPs) should have a say as too how much details should make their way in them. I was happy to see someone mentionning how he'd respected such an SP's wishes. That's the way to go. We're not meat.
I remember Lyla's List as well. That place was a ball. Nothing that came after Lyla's List ever came close to the level of open dialogue between client and SP it had. I used to post there often
Just be nice boys, you already know that
Keep asking questions like this. Makes the escorting world a better place.
