The bid for 3* hotel, Montreal for this week, accepted for $80. I think that I bid higher than necessary, but did not want to take any chances. Just to save a few bucks, one can end up paying a lot more.

Just got the 3* Holiday Inn Select for $68 + taxes for late August. Why I bid $68, I am not really sure. Wanted to get the Hyatt Regency. Have stayed at both previously. Hyatt is much better. Oh well.

There is an active thread on hotels only. Has all of this information on it already. Hotwire 3* = Delta (and others) 4* = Hilton Bonaventure (and others) This is what I got, YMMV!
