As an out of towner, who visits once a year or so, I can't say I am ultra familiar with the asian cuisine scene in Montreal. But on my last trip, I discovered an area west of Concordia University on Saint Catherine St W, that I didn't know existed. There are numerous asian restaurants...

I agree, there seems to be alot more options than previously, and I also think we've come to expect and generally receive a certain level of standard of service, especially in regards to the top agencies/indies. Although the quality of experience may vary from SP to SP, there is alot less bait...

I've never found an appreciation for poutine, maybe it's my unsophisticated palate, or dumb american ways, but I've tried it on a few occasions, and everytime I think I would enjoy it, but it just doesn't do it for me. Fries, gravy, and cheese, what can go wrong? Go figure. My comfort food...

I think preference is highly dependent on if you are local or visiting, and if you are already renting a place or comfort level of using your own residence. Luckily for all of us, we have options of both.
