Wilko, don't you have the option of changing the MAC Address on your router ? I changed to Different MAC address and it gave a new IP. I tested my Old MAC address and it did give the same old IP.

I use a DLink Router. Change the MAC Address on the router, let it restart then reset the modem (power it off and on). I hope the Mods don't freak that I changed my IP :eek: :D.

Just my opinion but I always found intelligent, book smart, highly knowledgeable persons, socially awkward. It could be that they think too much to a fault. Maybe lack of real life experiences or not enough time spent socializing and getting to know people. They become outcasts early in age...
