what was really weird about this, is that while I couldn't connect though the "regular" internet, I could connect from a foreign proxy. I know the US and Canada does the whole "government blocking top level domains we don't like" thing so I assumed it was either this or my ISP.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I heard that too... but I wasn't quite sure what it meant, or whether it was a euphemism for something. Because if the agency simply got a new booker/owner, then I would expect the site to still be running and see ads from them.
