I can say that out of all the places I've been (US, Canada, Europe, etc), the beggers in downtown Montreal are the worst... There's so many of them and they just fucking badger you every inch of Ste. Catherine... There was a time me and my friends were followed 2 blocks by one guy begging...

Les Courtisannes... Went there once. It was a fucking shithole. We walked in and the place was really grimey, just filthy... A girl came out of the back in nothing more then a g-string... She was almost as gross as the place. We didn't even stick around to try the food.... NOT RECOMENDED!

I stayed there in Sept. The escorts have no problem getting in. The room however was very small, IMO. The Day's Inn on Guy (a few miles away) had larger rooms. But aside from room size they're pretty much the same. Decent stay, nothing to flashy.

The Day's Inn on Rene Levesque & Guy didn't give us any trouble either.
