if you want the winter flavour, then visit in February. hotels are very booked up in the Fall starting late August - November due to the numerous conferences/conventions in town. May seems to be very quiet in the hobby annually imo, so you might have an easier time booking hotel and ladies at...

the quiet period is generally May annually if i'm not mistaken. as for whether biz is down, my guess is yes overall due to the global economy > less travel > less luxury spending > etc. just ask the cabbies, they know everything about the city's economy.

sounds like so much trouble... just pay the fee and visit hobbyland. there are plenty of conferences in town throughout the end so that's your excuse to visit MTL when the customs agents talk to you.

does not need to be that big Jeff. any smartphone or computer can enlarge a photo with a few clicks. in fact it takes a long time to load your agency's merb photos and sometimes jams my smartphone ... got to stop checking ads in the middle of a meeting. lol
