Voyager I know what you mean. I drive 360 miles, due north. I guess that my original point, about being the exception, is that I feel that it's just proper etiquette to confirm, and comminucate as soon as you can if there are any problems. Am I wrong? CK

For me it depends on whether I am seeing someone from an agency, or seeing an indy. With an agency, it is already hard to book in advance, even a day in advance. I do try via email or phone a day or 2 in advance if I can. Then I confirm the appointment on the day I arrive, by phone...
