Never a dull day in hobbyland.
This is just a brief heads up to warn any hobby adventurers..
I went to see this girl https://www.leolist.cc/personals/fe...eal_no_deception_beauty_tanya_incall-11516002
Tanya

She claimed to be traveling from b.c (which partially added up because i found other ads with other pics of the same girl from kelowna)
Upon arrival on gouin near papineau, i knew something was off. My spidey senses said that a girl that fine would not be hosting in this building or area.
Then my mind played devils advocate telling myself that there are several very nice houses nearby and there are some that airbnb, maybe she got scammed on her airbnb and was just here for a day.
I took off my ring and necklace hiding it safely in my car and brought the exact amount, 180 with me, leaving my wallet and keys in my car. (Everyone should always do this out of precaution)
I asked her to come down to the lobby, saying that i found the location a bit odd.
She said ok, just come in the lobby and i will come meet you.
2 min later she texts "please just pay my security in advance"
At that exact moment a man walks in the lobby, black, muscular, around mid 30's.
He walks right up to me and says you are here for the girl, you must pay me in advance.
I let out a chuckle and say oh really, i have never heard of such a thing.
I was taken by surprise, the guy walked in seconds after that text, i hadn't even had time to process the text. I would have left right then anyways after reading a text like that.
He changes tone and made himself larger by spreading his shoulders and at this point his face became very serious.
He said 'stop playing games, i need the money right now, the 250$'
He seemed to be trying to intimidate me. I was taken by surprise, but by no means was i scared and to get my money out of my pocket he would have had to have a weapon or something, no way in hell will i just give money to a random man under any fckn circumstance ever !
It was then that i knew it was a scam, becayse i had booked 30 min at 180, not the 1 hour at 250.
I took a deep breath and contemplated.
He then said just pay me and i will take you upstairs.
I imagined me walking up with him only to enter an appartment full of more large black guys lol, yeah umm no thanks, i did not think walking up with this fellow was a good idea at all.
I basically told him that i am not paying shit, i am not paying in advance and i am not walking into any building with a man i dont know.
I said that i will only do 3 things.
I will walk out and go to my car and leave..
I will walk out and go to my car that is right in front with the 4 way flashers and press my key fob to pop my trunk and grab my aluminium bat or my crowbar and be back in 2 seconds.
Or i will give you 20$ for for troubles as a doorman and as security and i will be on my way.
Then i said it really waan't my best day and i am really REALLY not in the mood for any bullshit.
He did not like my response and he said, no you are going to give me the whole 250$.
I did not say another word and i very quickly swung the door open with all my pushing power and pressed my key fob twice in my pocket to pop my trunk automatically as i sped walked across gouin towards my car parked just on the other side of the street.
When i got to my car i turned around and the black guy was not in the lobby anymore, he either went into the building or came out and went somewhere close by.
I closed my trunk, hopped in my car and sped off.

It really was lucky circumstances that i was parked right in front with my hazards on and i played baseball over the weekend, so my bat was within very easy access. That crowbar was tucked far away, had i had to use it to defend myself, i would have been up shits creek. Also i am glad i did not have to defend myself or get into any type of altercation.

Its pretty obvious that there probably is no girl and the whole time you are texting with that black dude.
Be careful.
A friend of mine told me about a similar type of situation downtown at 3 in the morning.
My situation was early evening at 7pm with people walking their dogs and strolling in the evening breeze, quite brazen indeed to do such things when its not even fully dark out with impunity.

I say all this to warn people.
Some may get scared in a situation like this and give up.the money.. then what? The guy runs away? He brings you upstairs and leads you to a bait & switch or no girl at all? Or even worse, into an appartment full of other men?
Either way its all bad news.
Be careful out there, people are becoming desperate and with the laws in place that trudeau forced into vote, crime is rising and rampant, criminals have no fear because they know they will be released immediately even if caught.
"Since the Trudeau government passed Bills C-75 and C-5, which prioritized the release of violent repeat offenders and eliminated mandatory prison sentences for certain violent crimes, a wave of crime has swept the country. Most people arrested for anything other than attempted murder or murder are released the same day or the next.

I kinda wonder what is their goal in the end. I mean lets say the guy is a sucker and pay... Then what? Why would they bring him to the actual appartement? Steal more? As you say most peoples only carry the donation itself. I guess they could steal his cards if he bring his wallet and maybe the phone but then what?

I can understand the deposit scamming trough gift cards and such as even if it could be traced its not like police would bother.

But leading a guy to an appartement after you already stole from him seem like dark stuff happening...

Glad you got out of there but if the police is not contacted who knows what they could do to someone else...

I assume there is nothing upstairs, they'll just got the money and scare the guy off after getting it ...

This is actually a red flag to me considering the LL account is brand new. Providers rarely tour very early on in their career, the fact that a new account advertised in 2 cities completely oppsite ends of the country is more likely to mean one of two things :

1. The girl does exist but she has seasoned pimps that take her across the country

2. The girl does not exist and they're a group of men doing this in multiple places

And if the ads were by different accounts then the flag is even more red lol

What a story! Thank you for taking the time to write. Some thoughts as I was reading:
The ad no longer has any photos. Maybe this confirms she was in on it or that the scammers need to lie low for a bit?

Good on you for cross-referencing. Just curious, what about the location made you wary? It doesn't seem to be a bad neighborhood, maybe just a little lower-middle class from what I see on Google Maps Streetview. Is my impression wrong? Or do you mean she seems too glam to find clients in such a suburban-like area?

Then my mind played devils advocate telling myself that there are several very nice houses nearby and there are some that airbnb, maybe she got scammed on her airbnb and was just here for a day.
lol, yes, I can see myself thinking that way too. It's good you are self-aware, even after the fact.

This stood out to me because of tipping. I'm usually a cheap bastard and just pay the rate, but I thought tipping was getting to be more of an issue. Or am I mistaken, and the standing rate is good enough?

I basically told him that i am not paying shit, i am not paying in advance and i am not walking into any building with a man i dont know.

Way to keep your wits about you. I'm not sure I would have given $20, I would have just run for it. Besides, if you give $20, you have to take out your wallet, and that leaves you vulnerable to losing more. Years of travel in impoverished places taught me that!

I don't think they would have asked you to come up to the apartment and abused you. There's way more risk than reward in that. He probably would have told you to wait, went upstairs, and left you hanging there until you figured it out yourself.

It seems like it's a possibility he might have chased you, but you said it was "early evening at 7pm with people walking their dogs and strolling in the evening breeze," so doesn't that give you a bit of protection, you just needed to get out to the public?
