The agent who shot the woke lesbian that tried to run him over has nothing to worry about. The GoFundMe is more of a political stunt in defiance of the GoFundMe for that woman. The agent won't need the money. It's only because everything is so extremely politicized in the US now that he's effectively being rewarded for killing her, which is kind of crazy if you think about it. One thing to act in self-defence, totally different thing how it's celebrated by some people.

The agents who killed the fully licensed gun owner are pretty much screwed. Legal concealed carry by law abiding citizens is a huge deal for a lot of right wing people and organizations who would normally support those agents but in this case won't. Again, all extremely politicized issues in the US.

I didn’t exactly see it as her trying to run him over more of her trying to get away and his life was in no danger when he shot and killed her, woke lesbian or not she didn’t deserve to be killed.
Yes everything is political in the US almost like the civil war only not North and South, but Democrats and Republicans.

I am no fan of the Dems and I hated Biden who was a weak pussy and medically unfit to be President, but is having an insane lunatic egomaniac who wants to hold the world hostage with his tariffs the answer.

This thread is a microcosm of something I think often in the Trump era. Trump doesn't endure simply because of separate left and right media siloes. The only way anyone doesn't know what he stands for at this point is if they've been living in a cave for a decade.

Rather, Trump is still a thing because we have different values. No browbeating or information will make people decent if they choose to cling to indecency.

I don't know how anyone can watch what happened to Renee Good and Alex Pretti, watch the government reflexively call a mother of three who has no rap sheet "a domestic terrorist" (while people who stormed the Capitol are not), immediately muddy the waters by noting Pretti had a gun that he pointed at no one, watch them lie when there is readily video evidence to contradict their claims and still give the government the benefit of the doubt. Keep mind: these are two white citizens.

The blatant lying from the government doesn't surprise. Trump normalized lying and when voters don't hold him accountable for it, all other officials get the message that lying is ok. But watching the video with one's own eyes and still falling for the government's version/blaming the victims? That's a values thing, and there's no video that's going to solve that, sadly.
