Consider that Boomers are in heavy decline and 90%+ will be gone in the next decade. Genx, next 20-30 years are now entering the grand parent realm.
Millenials (gen-y '81-96) were the first generation to be in greater numbers than Boomers, Gen-z (97-12) were larger than GenX.

This means that the world is marketing to them more than us (other than medication, retirement homes, timeshares, funeral services....). I don't think they are being re-programmed, this is just how they were raised. The ways of pre-internet is something from their history books and so are many of the every day habits.

We are becoming outsiders to a system we've created.

As for being asexual, there is so much more competition between them (due to their numbers connected online), then we ever had to deal with. Those that are viable candiates don't have an issue playing the "dating game" + hookup culture is very very well active. I think the younger generation is many times more sexually active than previous generations were. They don't even need to go out anymore. Sure, there are those that fail to hookup for a billion reasons (looks, attitude, interests, $) and due to the large population numbers, it could feel like more people, but I'm pretty sure the % is still about the same...

The enviroment has evolved. I don't think its for the better... but I'm slowly aging myself out of the prime arena.

I blame the waves of simps everywhere, they take loans and silly decisions to get laid or subscribe to onlyfans. I recall this crypto whale spending hundred of thousands of dollars for a girl to give him attention . The writing on the wall is very clear if you look at it. It’s not only fans , that’s just the platform. The issue is the amount of simps everywhere.
