It looks to me like Ohno pushed Tremblay when he realized he was running out of room to pass. Is it a questionable call? Sure, but these happen all the time in short track and Americans were the beneficiary of questionable calls going against the Koreans in previous race. But for Ohno to whine...

These guys are used to playing on consecutive nights and sometimes 3 games in 4 days in the NHL. That extra game won't be a factor whatsoever.

Since the general public has no bearing on funding/training/coaching of athletes, I'd say that one point of view is definitely more important than the other. :)

What the general public remembers is irrelevant to the evaluation of general performance. For example, having two stud athletes winning 4 gold medals each is hardly representative of overall team/country performance.

While it is true that country rankings in the Olympics are based on the number of gold medals and that Canada has a good chance of finishing 1st, the goal has always been to "Own the podium", i.e. to win the overall medal count. Obviously, that's not going to happen. I think we'll end up with...

I have used that site for a while, especially for soccer/tennis matches.

It's not bad considering it's almost an experimental film with a minuscule budget and no real script. The most interesting aspect to me was the editing. The film was shot chronologically and then "deconstructed" during editing, so you get a series of scenes which are not necessarily connected in...
