That's the issue, there is no standard, and the terms can mean different things to different people. Maybe best to specify services you provide and what your restrictions are, rather than generalize with GFE/PSE, as that can lead to varying expectations from client to client.
Personally, I think this situation would have been easier to coordinate with an Indy, with whom you can have direct contact/discussions with, to answer any questions/concerns you may have.

What percentage of your inquiries do this? It's definitely a red flag, if someone can't take the time to read/understand who they are seeing. Do you bother responding, or just write them off immediately?
