Hmmmm...for me, I thought the writing was fine for Spider-Man: BND, and was on par with the "best" of the live-action films (SM2, NWH). They also included some new things as well (a bit of drama, some acting chops by Holland, etc.) Also Spider-Man is probably the biggest superhero for kids...

I've been meaning to see this one day myself. It's an acclaimed Roman Polanski film, so it's a bit surprising to hear that it isn't that great. Thanks for the heads up though.

Disclosure Day...it starts off decently, and I'm enjoying it as it goes along (good acting, some good direction, great train action sequence, etc.) But then comes that god-awful hokey ending, making me regret wasting 2+ hours on it. Totally unsatisfying. Spielberg should know better. Score: 5/10

Maybe...but on the other hand, it can be like the LOTR trilogy. Return of the King wasn't the best out of the three films, but it was the only LOTR film to win the Oscar for best film. Was more a reward for the entire trilogy, in general. I'm thinking a similar thing might happen with Dune 3...
