I heard they closed down. I don't know if it's permanent or what is happening. I just was speaking to John early this week and everything seemed fine. I hope everything is OK with him.
There are girls scheduled, but they are not working. Keli and Summer posted in this thread earlier today that they can't reach John and have gone Independent. The Mods must have deleted it. I heard from another girl who told me she spoke to a driver and he said Eleganza is closed. I don't know if it's permanent or what.
I have to imagine it isn't permanent. I mean it's been around for what, like 8-9 years? I was supposed to talk to him about Raquel tomorrow. We'll see if the new schedule comes out. Like I said, i hope nothing happened to John because this is very sudden.

Is there a reason you would consider using this word? The possible implications of the phrasing are shocking.
Again, for someone who seems to usually know more than others your choice of phrasing making it seem like a permanent closing is possible is shocking.
For years many Merb members have alluded to John's recruitment methods, which seem to often take place in public areas like bars for one. Reading that, I've often thought there was a lot of risk in doing so in such a setting encouraging strangers to enter this business.
Maybe the answer is mundane. Hopefully. But this business has a lot of risk in many directions, many pretty nasty.

John has been an iconic figure on the Montreal escort scene for 9 years at least. He has indeed enjoyed some ups and downs, but through the years has bounced back with bursts of great recruiting usually around every 6 months or so. He has very high standards and does not tolerate poor service, unreliability, or girls who do not book well. He has made the entire industry better and I hope that this is only a temporary issue.
I cannot recall with 100% certainty but I think that John closed the agency for about a week in 2007 to take a Caribbean vacation also involving some of his staff at that time. I heard the weather sucks in Montreal so maybe he took a plane south for some better weather, rest and relaxation. Let's hope so.
He also threw the best escort agency party I have ever been to, even though the format for it was a bit unusual. Too bad it was the only one he threw.

You can say that again. John, Carroll, Mike4U, and boobalicious Nadya all nowhere to be found. Ooooowwaaaaaah. Does anybody know when her birthday may be? It sounds like there's some extended celebrating going on. :eyebrows: It's nice to know she's still in such great shape.

Is Monday a slow day? Why would all these agency owners be missing? Is there a LE sting? Yes I know outcalls are legal, operating in a loop hole in the law but is ther a big investigation? I am thinkng about stopping in at the end of this week to see a few girls. I hope I didn't pick a bad week.
Maybe they are meeting in an undisclosed location to discuss a merger into a new mega agency? Sort of like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young merged into a musical supergroup in the 1960s?
I just checked Eleganza's website and no schedule has been posted for this week. John has been posting the coming week's schedule every Monday at 1-2 p.m., like clockwork, for the past 9 years.
They all took refuge in a kind of Noah's Ark (to the sole difference that instead of animals of different species they saved SW of different types) before the end of the world that is supposed to occur this week. Et voilà! Affaire classée...
