It seems the two big agencies have many of the in calls around the same two streets downtown. There's a police station on the same block and often cop cars parked on the same street and sometimes close to the entrance of the condos. I cannot believe they are unaware of what is going on...

Speaking for myself, I find that Montreal is a small city. It's easy to run into people you don't speak to anymore, and it's also easy to make a new friend or start dating somebody who knows someone you don't like. Also, work place environments, schooling, etc.
